Emily Sutton brings Weatherschool to St. John Christian Heritage School (April 2013)

OKLAHOMA CITY –  The power outage in the OKC metro is affecting the school day as well.

St. John Christian Heritage Academy in Oklahoma City is closed today because of the power woes.

The school is located at Northeast 57th and Kelley.

The storms may have knocked out the power, and students there know about the weather.

That’s because 4Warn Storm Team Meteorologist Emily Sutton brought Weatherschool to St. John Christian Heritage Academy in the past.

School leaders say students and teachers are not to report today.

Power crews are working to restore the power outages in the area.
