COX CITY, Okla. – Authorities have canceled a Silver Alert  issued in Oklahoma for a missing woman from Stephens county.

Police say Effie Duke, 74, has been found safe.

 

COX CITY,  Okla – There is a Silver Alert issued in Oklahoma for a missing woman from Stephens county.

Police say Effie Duke, 74, disappeared in Cox City around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Duke is 5’2″ and weighs 170 pounds.

She has gray hair and green eyes.

Authorities believe she could be in danger because she is insulin dependent and has memory loss.

According to officers, if approached she may seem coherent and not know she is missing.

Duke’s vehicle was last seen in the Walters area Wednesday.

Her vehicle is a white Honda Civic with Oklahoma license plate 093LTJ
