Oklahoma State’s men’s basketball team went on a 20-3 run to turn a tie game into an easy win over Oregon State on Monday night at the MGM Grand Main Event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

OSU started slowly, going more than 7 and a half minutes without scoring in the first half, and falling behind 18-11.

The Cowboys bounced back to take a 30-24 lead at halftime, then broke a 44-44 tie with their run to take control of the game in the second half.

Four OSU starters were in double figure scoring, led by Le’Bryan Nash’s 19 points.

Phil Forte struggled from three-point range, making just two of nine behind the arc, but still finished with 17 points.

Newcomers Jeffrey Carroll added 13 points and Anthony Hickey 12.

OSU held the Beavers to just 33 percent field goal shooting.

The Cowboys improved to 5-0, and will play the winner of the other semifinal between Tulsa and Auburn in the championship game on Wednesday night at 10:30 central time.
