OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City Police arrested the man who allegedly shot and killed his wife last week.

Kinney Glasson was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail Monday afternoon on the charge of first degree murder.

Last week, 41-year-old Erin Glasson was found dead inside her home in the 8700 block of NW 80th St. around 3:10 a.m.

Her husband, 33-year-old Kinney Glasson told police he woke up to find an intruder in their bedroom who was moving toward the couple.

“At that point, he retrieved his pistol and that was when he fired a shot and accidentally hit his wife,” MSgt Gary Knight said.  “That’s the story that he told the officers at the time.”

Neighbor Michelle Buck was shocked when it happened.

She describes the couple as having a loving relationship.

She says she was especially close with Erin.

"One of the sweetest people I've ever met. I mean, would do anything for anyone, such a kind heart, loves animals," said Buck.

At the time Kinney said he didn't have a good suspect description,  just a large man wearing a hoodie.

Kinney's arrest now has neighbors like Linda Piro shocked once again.

"The gentleman was an air-conditioning man and we used him on one of our rental homes and he seemed very nice," said Piro. "You never know what goes on behind close doors and you never know what demons people are fighting in their own private lives."

We're told the couple also has a 5-year-old daughter.
