5 people homeless after fire sweeps through NW OKC apartment complex

OKLAHOMA CITY – 5 people are looking for a new home today after a fire broke out at an Oklahoma City apartment complex.

The fire started just before 6 a.m. Monday at the Woodward Manor Apartments near Northwest 12th and Grand.

When crews arrived, there were flames coming from one of the second story units, but they were able to get a handle of the fire quickly and contained it to one unit.

There were no injuries reported.

One apartment has fire damage, and other units have smoke and water damage.

Fire crews are now trying to figure out what caused the fire.
