3.6 earthquake rocks OKC metro this morning
EDMOND, Okla. – You might have gotten quite a jolt while getting ready for work or school Tuesday morning.
That’s because according to the U.S. Geological Survey, an earthquake was reported 6.2 miles east northeast of Edmond, Okla.
It happened a few minutes after 6 a.m. Tuesday, and the NewsChannel 4 newsroom was flooded with phone calls from people in the metro who felt the shake.
The U.S.G.S. reports the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.6.
