Man charged in the drive-by murder of Oklahoma teen
MOORE, Okla. – A Lexington man has now been formally charged in connection with a drive-by shooting that killed a 14-year-old girl in Moore, Okla.
Cody Dallas Delano, 18, has been charged with first-degree murder.
According to court documents, Delano had been at a party at the home in Moore.
Court records state that Delano left after getting into a fight with other people at the party.
Police say that Delano later returned to the home and opened fire from a passing vehicle.
One of those bullets struck Railena Rhodes, 14, in the neck and killed her.
Rhodes was a freshman at Moore High School.
Delano is being held in the Cleveland County Jail on a $3 Million bail.
