Thomas averaged 16.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in the Sooners’ wins over George Mason and Baylor.

Oklahoma’s Gioya Carter is the Big 12 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Carter averaged 20.5 points and 7 rebounds in OU’s wins over Yale and West Virginia.

Carter scored 17 against Yale, and 24 against West Virginia, both of which were career highs.

It’s Carter’s first Big 12 weekly honor.
