OKLAHOMA CITY – It looks like an Oklahoma billionaire’s wife has cashed her massive check.

According to CNBC, Sue Ann Arnall cashed a personal check for $974.8 million, written by her billionaire ex-husband, Harold Hamm.

“We have been advised by Morgan Stanley that Ms. Arnall deposited the check this afternoon,” Michael Burrage, Hamm’s attorney, told CNBC.

Earlier this week, Arnall reportedly rejected the check.

Hamm agreed to pay the nearly $1 billion back in November.

But Arnall, an economist and a lawyer who held executive positions in the company, has said she is entitled to more.

She filed for an appeal, claiming that the fortune was due to both her work and his.

The couple was married for 26 years, have two children and had no prenuptial agreement.

To make things even messier, Hamm himself filed for an appeal as well.

He claims that with the dramatic drop in oil prices, his company’s value has taken a hit, along with his wealth.

At this time, it is unclear if the check’s cashing will end their divorce proceedings.

However, according to CNBC, it is likely that accepting the benefits of the settlement will end the appeal process.
