Oklahoma mother arrested for allegedly killing her daughter

WEATHERFORD, Okla.  – An Oklahoma mother has been arrested for allegedly killing her daughter.

According to the Weatherford Police Department, officers found a deceased female inside of a residence in the 300 block of east Tom Stafford avenue Monday.

The female was identified as 32-year-old Vitoria Garcia.

Officials say she suffered gunshot wounds to the head.

Weatherford Police say Garcia’s mother, 58-year-old Isabel Garcia, is in custody in connection to this case.

She was arrested for First Degree Murder.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigators and Weatherford officers continue to investigate the incident.

Officials say the motive for the shooting is undetermined at this time.

According to police, Vitoria Garcia’s body was transferred to the medical examiner’s office for autopsy in order to determine official cause and manner of death.
