Oklahoma’s women’s basketball team responded to a 10-0 second half run by Kansas State to beat the Wildcats 66-58 on Saturday at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman.

OU built a nine-point lead at 51-42 when K-State scored 10 straight points, getting a three-pointer to take a 52-51 lead.

The Sooners responded with a three-pointer from Gabbi Ortiz to regain the lead and never gave it up after that.

Ortiz had 11 points and hit three 3-pointers.

OU was led by Peyton Little, who had a career high 19 points and made all 10 of her free throw attempts.

Kaylon Williams was also in double figures with 12 points.

The Sooners hit eight 3-pointers as a team as they beat the Wildcats for the 14th time in the last 15 meetings and won their eighth straight over K-State in Norman.

OU has won 13 straight home games, and improved to 15-7 overall, 9-2 in Big 12 play.

The Sooners visit third-ranked Baylor Wednesday night at 7:00 at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.
