Thunder Offense on Display in Win Over Nuggets

Oklahoma City rattled off it’s 2nd straight win with a 124-114 victory over the Denver Nuggets. Denver made runs during the contest, but OKC managed to keep the Nuggets at arms length.

With the win, OKC is now tied with New Orleans for the 9th spot in the Western Conference.

Kevin Durant played with the fire of a thousand suns scoring a game high 40 points. He went 7 of 12 from behind the arc which ties a career high of made three pointers in one game.

Russell Westbrook scored 26 on 9 of 12 shooting.

As a whole OKC shot 54% and 50% from three point land.

Andre Roberson only missed 1 shot en route to scoring a career high 12.

Mitch McGary continued his thrilling play off the bench notching his second straight double-double. He finished with 17 points, 10 rebounds. McGary’s gaining traction on social media with the nickname “McDouble.”

The Thunder return home for a giant contest with the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.
