Oklahoma City Zoo planning 4th birthday bash for Malee the Elephant

OKLAHOMA CITY — Malee the Elephant is turning 4-years-old and the Oklahoma City Zoo wants you to help celebrate!

Malee’s Fourth Birthday Bash will be on Sunday, April 19 from 1-3 p.m at the Elephant Habitat.

There will be cake, party favors for both the guests and the elephants, giveaways and more!

Malee has had the hearts of Oklahomans since she was born on April 15, 2011. She was a healthy 304 pounds at birth, and now she weighs a whopping 3,000 pounds!

If you get there in time, you may even get to watch Malee blow out her birthday candle on her own birthday cupcake!

The Zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. with exhibit buildings closing at 4:45 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults, and $5 for children ages three to 11 and seniors age 65 and over. Children two and under are admitted free.
