GUTHRIE, Okla. – A woman is lucky to be alive after her car left the road and crashed into a neighbor’s pond.
Officials say the accident happened on Hunnington Road near Highway 105.
Police are unsure how the driver lost control of her car, but say she is lucky she was able to get herself out of the vehicle.
The car stayed afloat for less than 20 minutes before completely submerging to the bottom of the pond, according to the Guthrie News Page.
The woman reportedly refused medical treatment at the scene.
