Son accused of murdering father, Oklahoma Labor Commissioner, officially charged
OKLAHOMA CITY – The man accused of murdering his father, the Oklahoma Labor Commissioner, was officially charged Monday.
Christian Costello, 26, is charged with the first-degree murder of his father, Mark Costello.
Police say the two had agreed to meet on Sunday, August 23, at an Oklahoma City Braum’s.
Mark Costello tried to get away and ran to the parking lot, but the attack continued.
Costello died from his injuries.
The family said that Christian suffered from mental illness and that his family had tried to help and support him.
