Mike Gundy: Mason Rudolph Better Than Perceived vs. Texas

Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph probably had his worst game as a Cowboy in OSU's 30-27 win over Texas on September 26.

Rudolph threw two interceptions, one for a touchdown, and fumbled as well, which also resulted in a Longhorn score.

But OSU head coach Mike Gundy says the perception of how Rudolph played doesn't necessarily match the reality.

Rudolph says he was experiencing numbness in his throwing hand, but didn't feel that was the reason for how he played.

Oklahoma State had two players honored by the Big 12 on Monday, September 28, with defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week, and kicker Ben Grogan named Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week.

Ogbah had six tackles and two sacks in the win over Texas, while Grogan kicked three field goals, including the game-tying and game-winning field goals in the final two minutes of the game.

Oklahoma State hosts Kansas State this Saturday at 3:00 on Fox Sports 1.
