Officials: 4.4 magnitude earthquake recorded near Langston

LANGSTON, Okla. – Residents in central Oklahoma felt a little rumble Monday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.4. magnitude earthquake was recorded near the town of Langston.

The first quake registered around 10:57 a.m. Monday.

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake was also recorded around 11:35 a.m. near Guthrie.
