Southern cowboys and girls send picture, message to France

OKLAHOMA CITY — Members of the American Quarter Horse Association came together at the state fair grounds in Oklahoma City to support the French after the attacks on Paris.

The cowboys and girls took a picture holding a sign that reads, “United States stands with France!! Our thoughts are with you from Oklahoma City!”

AQHA also sent a message in French.

“À l’appui des récents événements en France, nous les peuples des États-Unis se tiennent forts avec le peuple de France nos prières et nos pensées sont avec vous.”

Which translates to

“In support of recent events in France, we the people of the United States stand strong with the people of France. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
