DEL CITY, Okla. – A Del City church teacher is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a teenage girl.

Police arrested Donnie Schultz, 45, Friday morning at his home.

Police said Schultz used his day job as a handyman to take a teenage girl to places around the metro to have sex with her.

We’re told the inappropriate relationship began when the girl was just 14, and it lasted for nearly two years.

Police said the girl, who’s now 16, told a parent teacher at her high school about the relationship, claiming she’d been brainwashed by the suspect.

Police said the two met at Calvary Christian Church, where Schultz teaches a bible class.

Court records show Schultz would take the victim to his handyman jobs around the metro to have sex with her, sometimes in his white work van.

“We did obtain evidence from a computer taken from his home that validates and verifies what we’ve been told,” said Del City Major Jody Suit.

In that search, police took his laptop computers, cell phone and tablet that revealed a collection of photos of the victim naked.

Police said Schultz is married with kids but used his home computer to record himself having sex with the victim in his master bedroom.

A neighbor who didn’t want to be identified told us Schultz kept to himself, and she never expected this.

“I have kids. It worries me," she said. "I have a little girl, and it just makes me keep my eyes closely on them.”

Schultz has been in trouble with the law before for sex crimes.

In 1995, he was convicted of second degree rape in Cleveland County, but he didn’t have to register as a sex offender after 2013.

Now, he’s in jail on a number of charges, including forcible oral sodomy and manufacturing child porn.

“As bold as he was in the accusations against him in this case, yes, we believe there are probably more victims out there, and we’re very interested in talking with anyone who’s had contact with him."

The pastor at Calvary Christian told NewsChannel 4 he was aware Schultz was a sex offender, but the pastor said he didn’t think it was relevant because he insists Schultz teaches only adults.

Police found a picture of another possible victim at Schultz’s home, and they’re still working to identify her.

Calvary Christian released a statement Friday evening:

We are praying for peace at this difficult time. Calvary follows children and youth safety policies in an effort to protect children and minors.
