NORMAN, Okla. – When you think of intro videos, you may think about sitting in the stands at Owen Field.
However, another OU team is nationally ranked and is taking their sport by storm.
The OU women’s gymnastics team is led by K.J. Kindler, who has consistently led the team to the top. In 2014, OU won a national championship and the team seeks to do it again.
Currently, OU is ranked second nationally and in the top eight on every event.
On Wednesday, the university released its intro video and it is bringing some attention to the sport.
The Sooners will compete on Friday when they face Iowa State and Arizona State in the Beauty and the Beast Meet, which is hosted with OU’s wrestling team.
The meet is set to begin at 6:45 p.m.
