Bank robbery in Oklahoma leaves two dead

EUFAULA, Okla. - Two people are dead after a bank robbery in Eufaula, Oklahoma.

A bank robbery was reported around 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the Bank of Eufaula, Fox 23 reports.

Shots were fired inside the bank, killing one person and critically injuring another.

The deceased victim has been identified as the bank president, Randy Peterson.

Troopers told Fox 23 the suspect was a man dressed as a woman.

He was identified as 40-year-old Cedric Lamont Norris from Texas.

Authorities chased the suspect along Highway 69 between Checotah and Onapa.

Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the chase.

Authorities then exchanged fire with the suspect and a woman who was inside the suspect's vehicle.

At this time, it is unclear what the woman's involvement in the robbery may be.

Norris was killed at the scene.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are investigating.

Four people were shot, two people were killed.
