Oklahoma City fire crews have already worked several grass fires within city limits, and are urging citizens to use extreme caution when doing anything outdoors that could spark a blaze.

Authorities say they have already responded to 93 wild land fires since the beginning of January. The majority of the fires were sparked by burn piles, discarded cigarettes, chains hanging from vehicles, outdoor cooking, welding, mowing and other preventable activities.
