MOORE, Okla. – A Moore wrestler is facing rape charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a classmate.

According to an affidavit the 17-year-old student at Southmoore High School is charged with rape by instrumentation, a felony.

Officials say the victim is under the age of 14.

Court documents state the teen admitted to placing his finger in victim’s anus over the victim’s clothing.

The teen also admitted to performing this same act on two other juveniles and attempting to perform the act on a third juvenile, the affidavit states.

He told authorities this was part of a wrestling maneuver. However, he said he had never performed the act on anyone during a match and it had not been performed on him during a match.

He did say someone had previously performed the act on him.

The defendant in the case is a juvenile, therefore KFOR will not release his name.

Sgt. Jeremy Lewis said police are investigating a similar incident at a Moore middle school.

Earlier this week, four Norman North high school students were charged with rape in connection with sexual assaults on a wrestling bus.

The Norman North students are accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old and a 16-year-old.
