HOUSTON, Texas – Four people are dead, including two children, after a small plane crashed near a Texas airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration reports a single-engine Cirrus SR-20 plane crashed Sunday morning near the airport in Navasota, northwest of Houston. FAA spokesman Lynn Lunsford tells the Houston Chronicle the pilot of another plane spotted the wreckage of the plane in a wooded area.
