Pauls Valley Police arrest one man, searching for second after robbery

PAULS VALLEY, Okla. —

The Garvin County Sheriff’s Office and Pauls Valley Police Office have arrested one man and are searching for another suspect after the two robbed a local pharmacy.

Police responded to a call at 10:55 a.m, Saturday to the Legacy Drug Pharmacy located at 111 W. Grant Ave. in Pauls Valley.

A customer reported that the building was locked up and blinds were closed which didn’t appear normal, police said.

Two men wearing masks entered the pharmacy armed with firearms, Pharmacy employees were bound with their hands and feet but not injured.

After officers had arrived on the scene, they witnessed two men leaving the store, carrying several items and wearing masks. The men fled on foot and officers pursued the pair.

Officers arrested Jeremy Lavorchek, 28, following the pursuit.

Police are searching for the second suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, around 5 foot 7 inch, weighing about 160 pounds with short strawberry blond hair. The suspect was seen wearing a dark blue coat and dark blue pants.

Officers recovered large quantities of narcotics were taken from the pharmacy, three firearms, cash, and several other objects of evidence during the investigation, police said.
