One woman used her obituary in an attempt to swing voters in this year’s presidential elections.
Alba Keus, 89, who passed away this week, opposed Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
And in her obituary, she made just one request:
“In lieu of flowers, Alba’s request would be that you do not vote for Donald Trump.”
Daughter Andrea O’Neill is hoping the obituary will make her mother’s opinion count.
“We just thought that this was her last way to get her vote in,” O’Neill said.
Keus’ is not the first person whose obituary made a political statement.
An obituary published last year for a North Carolina man asked people not to vote for Hillary Clinton.
