State agencies given approval to release non-essential personnel due to bad weather

OKLAHOMA CITY РAs a tornado watch was issued for most of central Oklahoma,  officials announced that state agencies may release employees early.

The Commissioner of Public Safety announced that due to bad weather, state agencies in Canadian, Cleveland, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma and Pottawatomie counties may release non-essential personnel beginning at 3 p.m.

However, essential personnel should remain at work.
