NINNEKAH, Okla. – As severe weather is possible across Oklahoma on Tuesday, many residents rely on tornado sirens to know if a storm is getting too close to home.

However, one town in Oklahoma will not have that warning on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Ninnekah officials posted that tornado sirens will not be sounding due to ongoing repairs.

In the event of a tornado, the Grady County Fire Department will utilize their sirens, horns and P.A. systems to alert the community.
