Norman police say a warrant is out for the arrest of 22-year-old Akolda Manyang after he allegedly assaulted a victim during a fight on Campus Corner early Sunday morning.

Authorities say around 2 a.m. on Sunday, Manyang approached the victim who was walking with two women.

They say Manyang attempted to "hit on" one of the women, who police say asked him to stop.

When he continued, that's when the victim told Manyang to "chill out."

Police say that's when Manyang allegedly punched the victim in the face, knocking two of his teeth out.

The court affidavit obtained by the Tulsa World, states that witnesses were present and claim the victim did not provoke the attack.

Officials at the Cleveland County Court Clerk's office say Manyang has turned himself in.

After hearing about the assault, the athletics department suspended Akolda from the basketball team.
