STILLWATER, Okla. - There's a  search for a stolen van out of Stillwater - inside of which were furry, four-legged friends now missing from their family.

Chex and Minnie mean the world to the Smiths.

A pit bull and schnauzer combo with a new kitten thrown into the mix are all now missing.

"I mean, I spend a lot of time crying," said Cassandra Smith. "I lost my voice from crying so much."

It was earlier this month outside Noodles & Company in Stillwater.

Cassandra left her car running for just a moment, which was all it took.

"It was about 84-85 degrees that day, so I just left the van running," Cassandra said. "This kid came racing up, hopped into the van."

The Smiths watched helplessly, as their van tear through the parking lot and disappear around the corner - her pets stuck inside.

"We've seen no signs of our pets since. Nothing," Cassandra said. "Oh, I'm horrified of what could happen."

The grand theft auto and dognap combo baffles the Smiths to this day.

But, they're filled Payne County with flyers - holding out hope Chex, Minnie and little Sasuke will be found.

"I mean, I would love to have my van back," Cassandra said. "But, it's my babies. It's my pets. They are my furry, four-legged children."
