Google shows us which word Oklahoma has the hardest time spelling

Google recently released a map that shows the single word people in each of the 50 states have the hardest time spelling.

The data is based on Google searches that start with the phrase “how to spell” and then the word people are looking to spell correctly, TODAY reports.

Google’s data shows the people of Oklahoma have the hardest time spelling┬áthe word “gray.”

But we aren’t alone!

Two other states, South Dakota and Michigan, also have a hard time with the word.

The most commonly misspelled words include “desert,” “cancelled,” “pneumonia” and “vacuum.”

Perhaps the most humorous “how to spell” search comes out of Massachusetts.

Google found the word the people of Massachusetts struggled with with most is “Massachusetts.”
