OKLAHOMA CITY - Backyard barbecues are a common sight in summer, and homemade Italian food can't be beat.

Pesto is a favorite for pasta, bruschetta and other foods, and using fresh herbs for your garden is a great way to celebrate summer.

And you don't have to have tons of basil to do it!
