OKLAHOMA CITY - It's time to get our weekend started!
As the temperatures rise, many Oklahomans will be heading to lakes across the state.
Lake Texoma is an 88,000 acre water playground that has some of the country's best striper fishing.
If you are looking for a different activity, head to the Stars and Stripes River Festival.
The festival is Saturday in the Boathouse District with kayak and rowing races. It will also have the first whitewater rafting league competition, a 5K run, live music, food and fireworks.
The Oklahoma City Land Run Antique Show is this weekend in the Cox Pavilion at State Fair Park. It will include collectibles, art, antiques and furniture.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children.
A blockbuster art show is going on at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. 'Mattise in His Time' includes more than 50 works by famous artist Henri Matisse. Other works from Picasso are included as well. This is the only venue in North America for this show, so people are coming from all around to see it.
You can learn more about these and other attractions at 6:30 p.m. Saturdays on 'Discover Oklahoma.'
