Six arrested, 75k plus in stolen property recovered in Canadian County bust

EL RENO, Okla.– Six suspects were arrested on various charges following the execution of a search warrant on Tuesday, July 19th.

The Multi-agency Special Operations Team, which is used for situations deemed high risk, encountered four of the suspects outside the residence and took them in to custody.

Once on the property a 19-year-old female locked herself in a camper and a 55-year-old male attempted to escape. Both were arrested shortly after.

Authorities recovered over 75 thousand dollars in stolen property, including a camper, a Honda ATV, two motorcycles, a Dodge pickup, and a Bobcat skid-steer.

The also found an assault rifle, semi-automatic pistol, three sets of digital scales, Xanax, anabolic steroids, 16 grams of methamphetamine, and 18 grams of marijuana, three pre-loaded syringes of methamphetamine, and an assortment of drug paraphernalia.

Further inspection of the property led to the discovery of a small marijuana patch, showing signs of cultivation.

Following transportation to the Canadian County Jail the six suspects were identified and charged.

Haley Hulan, 19, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Firearm While in the Commission of a Felony, Use of a Camera Surveillance System While in the Commission of a Felony, Cultivation of Marijuana, Possession of Xanax, Possession of Marijuana, Concealing Stolen Property, Obstructing a Peace Officer, and Unlawful Possession of a Sawed-off Rifle.

Her bond was set at $47,500.

Nick Charmello, also has arrest warrants pending in Oklahoma and Woodward Counties, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Firearm While in the Commission of a Felony, Use of a Camera Surveillance System While in the Commission of a Felony, Cultivation of Marijuana, Possession of Xanax, Possession of Marijuana, Concealing Stolen Property, Obstructing a Peace Officer, and Unlawful Possession of a Sawed-off Rifle.

Charmello’s bond was set at $97,500.

Barry Sharp, 49, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of Firearm While in the Commission of Felony, Use of a Camera Surveillance System While in the Commission of a Felony, Possession of Marijuana, Cultivation of Marijuana, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Concealing Stolen Property, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Martina Monreal, 43, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines, and Cultivation of Marijuana.

Her bond was set at $40,000.

Raymond Calandro, 50, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamines, and Cultivation of Marijuana, and is being held on an active warrant in Oklahoma County.

His bond was set at $40,000.

Jimmay Wallace, 49, also with active warrants in Oklahoma County, was charged with Cultivation of Marijuana and Concealing Stolen Property.

His bond was set at $15,000.

All but Barry Sharp, who was able to meet his 80 thousand dollar bond, remain in custody.

The information leading the Sheriff’s Office to securing the search warrant on the property was developed as part of a joint investigation involving the Mustang Police Department.

“Not only were six bad guys taken off the streets as a result of this investigation, but over seventy-five thousand dollars in stolen property has been returned to its rightful owners; and the entire episode is indicative of the professional law enforcement our county is blessed to have protecting it,” said Chris West, Canadian County Undersheriff.
