EDMOND, Okla. – Drivers in Edmond may need to find a detour as crews work to remove a traffic signal on Saturday morning.

Beginning around 9 a.m. on July 30, crews will begin removing the traffic signal on Boulevard just north of 5th St.

City officials say the outside lane in each direction will be closed while crews work on the signal. Traffic will also be diverted between lanes as pavement markers are removed.

Drivers should expect delays.

The work is expected to be completed before noon.
