USA Men’s Gymnasts and Former Sooners Fall Short of Medal

The U.S. men’s gymnastics team fell short of a team medal on Monday, August 8, at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Americans finished fifth in the team competition, with Japan winning the gold medal, Russia taking silver and China the bronze.

The U.S. team features three former Sooner gymnasts:  Chris Brooks, Alex Naddour, and Jake Dalton.

The team still could win individual medals later in the Olympics.
