Free events that will keep the family entertained this weekend

OKLAHOMA CITY - This weekend promises to be a little cooler, so you may find yourself out and about.

On Friday night, there is a free showing of Jurassic Park at Central Park in Moore. Guests can enjoy free popcorn and $1 sno-cones. The movie begins at 8:45 p.m.

The Village is throwing a free block party Saturday from 5 p.m,. to 9 p.m. at Duffner Park, close to N.W. 122nd and Greystone Ave.

Guests can enjoy free food, live music, family games and the park's splash pad.

The 2nd Friday Norman Art Walk is Friday night and connects the arts district with outlying galleries and Campus Corner. Expect live music and food along the walk and all events are free and open to the public.

Due to Olympic coverage this weekend, Discover Oklahoma will air on KAUT on Saturday at 10 p.m.
