OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Corporation Commission released a statement Tuesday that Magellan Midstream Partners has issued a recall on gasoline containing high levels of ethanol.

The affected gasoline was distributed from the Midstream facility in Oklahoma City to retailers in the metro area from August 23rd to the 29th.

Almost 450,000 gallons are being recalled and may contain as much as 30 percent ethanol.

It appears the gasoline went to retailers almost entirely in Oklahoma and Cleveland counties.

The company is working to identify locations who received the recalled gas to stop all sales and remove the product.

Anyone who is experiencing a fuel-related issue with their vehicle should contact the gas station.

Fuel complaints regarding this or any other concern related to fuel measurement or quality can also be filed with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission at www.occeweb.com or 405-521-2211.
