OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities are combing through evidence to track down suspects accused of breaking into the Internal Revenue Service in Oklahoma City.

Around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Oklahoma City police were called to the IRS building after an alarm was triggered.

According to the police report, an employee got to the building around 5:55 a.m. and found an office door open with the lights on.

When she went to turn off the light, she noticed that the filing cabinet was open and that the door had damage to the handle.

The report claims that a safe was also moved and had damage to the front door, which is when she hit the panic alarm.

When officers arrived, they say they found several cubicles with open drawers and open lock boxes. However, authorities say they do not know exactly what was taken.

Investigators say the front doors were still locked and weren’t damaged.
