OSU police officers searching for suspect accused in attempted sexual assault on campus

STILLWATER, Okla. – Police officers at Oklahoma State University are searching for a suspect accused in an attempted sexual assault on campus.

Around 1:50 a.m., police say a female student reported she was walking outside when a man wearing a ski mask approached her and pushed her against the side Bennett Hall.

The victim told police that the suspect said he had a gun and made sexual comments.

OSU police say the victim was able to get away from the suspect when he became distracted by a passing car.

She reportedly “kneed him in the groin,” and ran away.

The suspect is described as a thin, white male between 5’8″ and 6’0″ who was wearing a ski mask, a black sweatshirt and blue jeans.

He was last seen running east from the southwest corner of Bennett Hall.
