MARYVILLE, Tenn. – While working at Planet Fitness, Lezlie Bauler has seen many people come in to finish up a workout.
On Sunday, she spotted a man who was not in the traditional workout attire.
Bauler says the man, Jason Harding, was wearing a firefighter gear and asked if it was okay if he got on the stair climber.
Harding said that he wanted to honor his fallen brothers and sisters who lost their lives on 9/11 by climbing 110 flights of stairs.
Harding’s wife responded to Bauler’s Facebook post, saying, “I cried when I read your post and saw him there in the moment. Thanks for letting him show his respect and honor those fallen.”
