Initial reports: Fast-food restaurant evacuated after chase suspect hits gas meter
OKLAHOMA CITY – It was a wild scene for emergency crews in northwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday afternoon.
Shortly after 4 p.m., police asked for more units to help with a chase near N.W. 17th St. and Robinson.
A few minutes later, the car crashed into a gas meter in the Carl’s Jr. parking lot.
Eventually, the chase came to an end near N.W. 23rd St. and Robinson Ave.
Initial reports indicate that one person was taken into custody.
However, officials began evacuating the restaurant as a precaution.
