PITTSBURGH, Pa. — A Pittsburgh Steelers running back took to Twitter after he received backlash for tipping a waitress 75 cents on a $129 bill.

Workers at Ledo Restaurant in Maryland called out Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams on social media over the weekend after he reportedly only tipped a waitress 75 cents.

According to TMZ, the waitress took to social media after Williams left the restaurant.

“Just now at work I had Deangelo Williams come in and I waited on while tending bar. His check was $128.25. He left me $129 with no tip but .75 cents. So there you go Stealers fans, your running back is cheap as s**t!!! Smh.”

After Williams was called out, he said that even leaving a 75-cent tip was too generous because the service was awful.

According to TMZ, the waitress who served Williams was fired over her handling of the tip situation.

The owner of Ledo Restaurant has since offered to apologize to Williams in person and even pay for his next meal.
