Oklahoma State Fair & other activities for your weekend

OKLAHOMA CITY – It’s time to start making those weekend plans.

The Oklahoma State Fair is open to the public through Sept. 25 and there is a lot to see and do at the fair.

We spend a lot of time thinking about the food, but there are other activities for the whole family to enjoy from Disney on Ice, concerts and rides.

It’s time for Tecumseh Frontier Days in downtown Tecumseh. It’s an annual celebration of the town’s settlement and there is always a parade, games and music. It is free to the public Friday and Saturday.

The Stone River Music Festival is going on Friday night through Sunday in Chandler, a beautiful setting just north of town. Tickets start at $20 but kids 12-years-old and under are free.

Wiggle Out Loud is a concert just for kids at the Myriad Botanical Gardens on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There are a lot of free activities and a concert by the Sugar-Free All-Stars.

Due to football coverage on Saturday, Discover Oklahoma airs at 10 p.m.
