WATONGA, Okla. – An Oklahoma man is charged with a felony count of child abuse after he allegedly bit a 3-year-old.

Preston Scott Sessions, 26, is charged with a felony count of child abuse by injury for biting the child on the hand, arm, back, leg and foot, the Enid News and Eagle reports.

On Sept. 2, a woman called police after she noticed multiple bite marks on her 3-year-old.

She reportedly told police that she was awakened by her boyfriend, Sessions, saying he could not get the child to stop crying.

When she went to check on the child, she noticed at least 10 bite marks on the toddler.

Sessions reportedly told the woman that he didn’t know how the bite marks happened.

However, the toddler later told the Department of Human Services that Session caused the marks, the Enid News and Eagle reports.

Court documents state the child also told DHS officials that Sessions even threatened to “cut up the family” if he told anyone.

When authorities questioned Sessions about the incident, he reportedly admitted to biting the child “once or twice.”

He was arrested and charged with a felony count of child abuse by injury.
