OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man is headed to prison following a brutal attack on his girlfriend that lasted for three days.

The victim told police that 39-year-old Brian Roland Mance II attacked her at various locations around the metro, stabbing her leg 17 times with a Phillips head screwdriver, burning her thigh with a soldering torch, sticking her arm with a throwing knife, pistol-whipping her twice in the head, hitting her with a metal baton and punching her in the eye.

The victim says she was able to escape to a hospital when Mance went to a friend’s house.

“It was pretty severe,” said Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Ashley Peters. “And obviously it constituted enough probable cause for the DA for a warrant to be issued.”

Mance pleaded guilty to three counts of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

He was sentenced to a 14 year suspended sentence, but he’ll serve the first six years in prison.
