Fall festivals provide fun events for the whole family

OKLAHOMA CITY – It’s starting to feel like fall, which means there are a lot of great festivals for the whole family to enjoy.

The Regatta Festival in the Boathouse District is being held Friday night through the weekend. Over 1,000 rowers will compete, and along with watching the race, there will be live music, a children’s area, a wine and beer garden and food.

The Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival is happening in Guthrie in the Cottonwood Flats. ┬áIt will be held until 10 p.m. on Friday and all day Saturday with ticket prices between $20 and $40. You’ll hear from national and international bluegrass bands and they will have activities for the kids.

In Chickasha, the Rock Island Arts Festival has begun and it runs Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The event features fine arts displays, live music, inflatables and great food booths.
