Police working to piece together what led to possible drive-by shooting in N.E. Oklahoma City
OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are still trying to piece together what led to an early morning drive-by shooting in northeast Oklahoma City.
Around midnight, police were called to reports of a shooting near N.E. 31st and Prospect.
Police were directed to the area after a local hospital called to tell them they had admitted a shooting victim.
Near N.E. 31st and Prospect, police found 16 shell casings and other evidence of a shooting.
The victim told police he didn’t know who shot him or why.
He was admitted into the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating.
