Former OKC High School Star Honored by Hometown

Former Heritage Hall High School star Wes Welker was honored by his hometown on Tuesday, October 11, as Oklahoma City proclaimed it "Wes Welker Day."

Welker was an All-State performer for the Chargers, before going on to play at Texas Tech, then 12 years in the National Football League, where he made five Pro Bowls.

Welker was honored for his on the field accomplishments, as well as his work off the field, with the Wes Welker Foundation.
