TULSA, Okla. – Authorities in Tulsa are searching for a person who allegedly assaulted and abducted a 22-year-old man.

It all started when police attempted to stop a car around 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

The driver sped off, but officers did not pursue the vehicle on the ground because of a police helicopter nearby.

Eventually, the car was found abandoned after it crashed into the front yard of a home several blocks away.

However, officers were in for a shock when they began looking through the vehicle.

According to FOX 23, they discovered a 22-year-old man shoved in the trunk of the car, suffering from minor injuries.

The man told officers that he planned to meet someone that he met online.

Authorities told FOX 23 that they learned the person the man was meeting was an underage girl.

Officers say when he went to the girl’s home, her family became upset.

At that point, he claims that he was assaulted and put into the trunk of the car.
